The Export Topo cache files to text tool converts the topological dictionaries created by RivEX into simplified plain text files. Each text file has a header section and then the data. You can manually strip out the header section in your favourite text editor and import the data into your third party application as a CSV file.


This page demonstrates the range of outputs created by this tool using the example network below. The network is composed of 5 lines (edges) and 6 nodes (junctions). Lines and nodes are labelled with their unique ID's and we see that node 5 is the mouth of the network.
