Cross - bad  RivEX tools are running slowly, but they used to run fast!  A scenario that can impact the performance of RivEX tools is to have your network symbolised by a very large set of unique values. For example you may have symbolised your network by Source ID, such a variable can create thousands of unique values. This will significantly impact the Contents pane as it tries to display the many unique values. It would also mean the layer object passed around inside RivEX code is very large and complex as all the values need to be stored as part of the renderer properties of the layer object.

Tick - good The solution is to display your network as a single symbol (e.g. a simple blue line) and avoid displaying the network with a large number of unique values.
