This is in anticipation that the next release of ArcGIS 10.1 will kill off RivEX as ESRI intend to remove the VBA environment. I am starting to migrate RivEX to an ESRI ArcGIS 10 AddIn but this a long road to follow as I have over half of decade of coding to migrate! I am also taking the opportunity to improve the performance of RivEX, retire under used tools and add better functionality. When will this be completed? As a rough guess Christmas 2012 as I need to rebuild the entire tool in a VB .Net environment. The algorithms for generating catchment ID and distance from mouth have been updated and now have an option that forces furthest route when running. This has a big impact on what is attributed within the network for catchments that have multiple mouths.
