Development of current VBA version of RivEX halted

I have decided to halt all development/bug fixing in the current MXD version of RivEX. This is in anticipation that the next release of ArcGIS 10.1 will kill off RivEX as ESRI intend to remove the VBA environment. I am starting to migrate RivEX to an ESRI ArcGIS 10 AddIn but this a long road to follow as I have over half of decade of coding to migrate! I am also taking the opportunity to improve the performance of RivEX, retire under used tools and add better functionality. When will this be completed? As a rough guess Christmas 2012 as I need to rebuild the entire tool in a VB .Net environment. I will also need to rebuild the help manual and website.

RivEX Version 6.0 Update

A new version of RivEX is available for download. The algorithms for generating catchment ID and distance from mouth have been updated and now have an option that forces furthest route when running. This has a big impact on what is attributed within the network for catchments that have multiple mouths. This new option is turned on as default but can be ignored by unchecking the appropriate checkbox in on the Attribute network tab of the RivEX interface.
