Confirm your system setup

Before you continue with purchasing RivEX, confirm you have the minimum system requirements.  RivEX uses various Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) and will not run unless they are available.  Click here for a list of required DLLs. You should also ensure your data is a centre-lined river network, click here to help you identify if your data is suitable for RivEX.

RivEX+ sits within the same ArcGIS mxd document as RivEX. As long as your system fulfils the requirements of RivEX, it is 100% compatible with RivEX+.


You have at least ArcGIS 9.1 installed on a machine running Windows XP/VISTA/Windows 7 with read/write access to the C:\ drive.
You have at least Excel 2002 (part of office XP)  installed, earlier versions of Excel will not work.
Ensured any ArcGIS 8.3 DLL libraries are not referenced by your current ArcGIS installation  (click here to find out what this is)
