Required DLLs

• RivEX uses various Dynamic Linked Libraries (DLLs) and will not run unless they are available.  Some of these are not provided with the operating system but come as part of Microsoft Office.

• RivEX uses the following libraries:

1. Visual Basic for Applications
2. OLE Automation
3. Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications extensibility 5.3
4. Microsoft Forms 2.0 Object Library
5. Microsoft Scripting Runtime
6. Microsoft XML v4.0

• You can check the availability of these libraries by looking at what is available within ArcMap.

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Go to the menu option Tools > Macros > Visual Basic Editor.
3. Go to menu option Tools > References.
