How to join tables
- The example used here is to join an error table created by RivEX to the attribute table of a river network.
- Ensure the error dbase file is loaded into ArcMap
- Right click on your river layer and select Joins and Relates>Join...

- Set the join properties as show below. Your river ID field may be named differently, so select the one you chose when you ran the quality control.

- The fields of the error dbase file will be joined to your river network as two fields at the end of the table.
- Select the menu option Selection>Select by Attributes... and for example create the expression:
"Short2VertexPolylines.PolylineID" >0
- Running this query will select all the polylines that failed the quality control.
